To give the voters of Guilford County a opportunity to see the Candidates and have questions by the local media, who will act as moderators. The local RNP (Republican National Committee) was contacted and responded to our invitation. This will take place April 28, 29, and May 1, 2008. The candidates for both parties for Governor, Lt Governor, State Treasurer, and the local county races are invited.
We had sent e-mails to Jerry Meek for the candidates running in the primary, but have yet to get a response. We believe that this election will be huge because of the Presidential election. We also believe that Guilford County will be a major player in this election because of the Universities and the community at large.
The Governors debate will be on the 28th at North Carolina A&T State University, Craig Hall tower A on the second floor auditorium.
The Lt Governors race along with the state treasurer's race will be at New Light Baptist Church 1106 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC.
The last debate will be May 1 at thr Greensboro Historical Museum, 130 Summit Ave Greensboro,NC. This will be for AT Large County commissioner and School Board. The times for the three days will be from 6-9pm. If there are any questions, please call me at 336-988-6001
thank you
