Throughout the 2008 elections, North Carolina witnessed a new kind of energy. We had record numbers of voters turning out to the polls. Democrats were victorious on federal, state, and local levels. Even more important, thousands of new volunteers joined our Democratic candidates on the campaign trail for the first time.
Even though the campaigns are over, there are still ways to continue building for Democratic victories. You can make our Democratic Party stronger. Your can have a voice in what the party does and what the Democratic party represents.
The first step is attend your neighborhood precinct meeting, which will be held between February 23rd and March 8th. The State Executive Committee meeting was held on January 31st.
