New Poll Shows Kay Hagan Leading Elizabeth Dole

In case you missed it, a new Democracy Corps poll of North Carolina likely voters shows Democratic Senate candidate Kay Hagan leading Elizabeth Dole 50% to 45%.

Only 38% of voters said they approved of the way Dole is handling her job and 39% disapproving. Last week a poll for Public Policy Polling also showed Hagan ahead.

The Democracy Corps poll of 852 likely voters was conducted August 20 to 26. You can view the full results here: http://www.democracycorps.com/wp-content/files/ncsw082608fq1.pdf
