Obama’s Campaign for Change Opens North Carolina Headquarters

Today, July 18, 2008, Obama’s Campaign for Change announces the opening of several offices in North Carolina, beginning with grand openings in Wilmington and Rocky Mount on Saturday, July 19th. Offices will also open in Charlotte and Raleigh in the upcoming days.

"We're putting together a great grassroots campaign from one end of North Carolina to the other. It's a campaign based on person to person contact between friends and neighbors, and these offices will support that effort" said North Carolina State Director Mark Farinella.

The grand openings will be open to the public and the press.

The Campaign for Change is a project of the North Carolina Democratic Party, led by top staffers who will work to harness the enthusiasm of Obama's grassroots-level supporters and organize them in communities across North Carolina - neighbor to neighbor, friend to friend and colleague to colleague - working for the benefit of Democratic candidates up and down the ticket.
