For the third consecutive year, Democrats from across the state will gather at their homes to engage in grassroots organizing.

This year Markos Moulitsas and Congressman Brad Miller will be joining us via conference call. Markos is the founder of Daily Kos and co-author of the best-selling book Crashing the Gate: Netroots, Grassroots, and the Rise of People Powered Politics.Brad Miller represents North Carolina's 13th District.

The events will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 25. Help make this a success by turning your house into a home for Democratic ideas and action.

He will discuss the role of the Internet in building a participatory democracy.

Each Democrat attending a House Party is asked to bring a $15 donation. This contribution will help the State Party prepare for the critical 2008 elections by building local parties and recruiting an army of trained volunteers ready to go to work.
