As a long time democratic, I am concerned that the voter both students and people in the community know very little about the candidates running for these offices. I believe that there are some excellent candidates running in the primary from the democratic party, I am afraid that the people will not heard from the candidates. I was told by a voter that these advertisers who work for some candidates can make Hitler sound like the Pope. I don"t want that to happen. Please ....
Presidential campaigns will be participating. $10 entry fee includes ballot and full BBQ lunch!!!!
A reception will kick off this year’s event at 5:30 p.m. with dinner following at 7 p.m.
Ticket prices are as follows:
$250 for reception and dinner
$125 per person for dinner
$25 theater seating, dinner not included
Table prices are as follows:
Chair’s Club: $4,000
Jefferson Club: $2,500
Jackson Club: $1,500
Democratic Club: $1,250
Theater seating is $25 and tickets are available online only. Dinner is not included with theater seating. However, concession stands will be open.

The Executive Board of the N.C. Federation of College Democrats is proud to announce that it will be hosting its first ever Statewide Convention on Saturday, February 23 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. We hope that any and all Democrats, whether college age or not, will join us in making history for the Federation! The convention will be held on the campus of Wake Forest University and is also being hosted by the Salem College Democrats. The convention will feature trainings on important topics such as fundraising, communications, and voter mobilization. Featured guest speakers for the convention include Rev. Romal J. Tune, CEO of Clergy Strategic Alliances, S.C. Rep. Bakari Sellers (D-90), and N.C. Rep. Tricia Ann Cotham (D-100).

The YDNC Executive Board is pleased to announce that the annual YDNC State Convention will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham (http://www.sheratonrtp.com/). This year, 2008, marks YDNC’s 80th year, and our annual convention will celebrate this amazing anniversary and the coming election year.
We are also extremely excited to announce that the keynote speaker at this year’s convention will be the controversial and inspirational CNN commentator and Democratic political strategist James Carville.
