The Summer SEC Meeting will be conducted via a hybrid format.In-person participants:
- The meeting will be held at the Stewart theater on NC State’s Campus. Here is the address: 2610 Cates Ave, Raleigh, NC 27695. For anyone who can make it work, we encourage you to come in-person! Scroll down to the bottom of this page for parking instructions.
- In-person participants are encouraged to pre-register to make the check-in process faster.
- Participants who are in person will have full ability to speak in debate on the floor, vote via voice vote, and interact with other participants who are in person.
Virtual participants:
- The meeting will be held over zoom.
- Virtual participants must pre-register for the meeting to ensure you are a credentialed SEC member.
- Participants who are virtual will have the ability to vote via Zoom raised hands (or phone in options), but will need to find a member in attendance who can make comments for them at the meeting if they wish to speak in debate. Chat in the Zoom meeting will only be to communicate with moderators, and there will be no provided forum to interact with in person participants for those who are virtual. We will try to help facilitate connections between virtual and in-person participants.
