In the midst of yet another week of nasty and bitter GOP infighting, Ted Budd’s backers are out with a new ad embracing one of the most divisive, extreme politicians in the country, Lt. Gov Mark Robinson. Below is a statement from NCDP spokesperson Kate Frauenfelder: 

“After benefitting from millions of dollars spent by outside groups to help him buy his way through this nasty primary, Congressman Ted Budd is now relying on the support of one of North Carolina’s most divisive politicians, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson. North Carolinians are tired of messy and divisive attacks that have become a trademark of this chaotic GOP primary and are seeing that none of the GOP Senate candidates will act with the independence and integrity our state needs.”
