After the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released the latest state unemployment figures, North Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Wayne Goodwin released the following statement:

“Donald Trump’s mismanagement of this crisis is devastating North Carolinians. We are more than five months into this pandemic, and while other countries are getting back to work after containing the virus, the situation in North Carolina is getting worse.  Time and time again, Trump and his administration show us they are utterly disconnected from the pain and suffering so many families across North Carolina are experiencing. It didn’t have to be this bad. We need a president who listens to the experts and takes action to keep us safe and get us back to work — that president is Joe Biden.”
